I'm so sorry to hear that. When my dog was put down, I swore I wouldn't get another dog because it hurt too much when they pass away. That only lasted a few months before Peppy joined my family.
Sorry about your dog. We did the same as Barry. When our precious Molly died, we were not getting anymore dogs but we got Lucy. We didn't want to replace Molly just feel the hole in our hearts she left. Lucy did a great job of feeling the hole. I wish you all the best and sending cyber hugs.
