Hashtags - Confessions - (6/3)

Well - here we go, another Wednesday has come into the mix. Yesterday, I shared with you my June Goals, and I just wanted to say thank you to all the great comments and emails I received about this. #lovemyblogfamily

http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m9av9kxMpO1r5nltfo1_500.gifI'm not sure if I have written about it - but there is a 15yr old girl who trains with her parents at our dojang. She has at least 30-40lbs on me, and has no self control. She hits hard, when we are told to go light, and it became very evident that she has a problem with me. Perhaps it is that the Master of the school has me on the accelerated program. Perhaps it's the fact that when she hits me hard (like holy shit hard) I respond quick, and always land something. I don't know. Last night was out of control - and without going into a long drawn out story - We have to talk to the owner of the school, and request a conflict mediation. I will not train, not have my family train, in a dojang where I have to directly deal with a child who cannot will not show the respect and restraint being asked of her. I also refuse to lose my restraint and go full throttle on a child. #Ihaveselfrespect #sofrustrated #wanttocry #butIwont

All was well and good in the world, until my hubby came to bed and Alaska didn't want to move...uhhh... #threesacrowd #needabiggerbed #sheslikeahugestuffedanimal

Poor kid. Poor mama. We all need summer to get here NOW. #scaredforthirdgrade #wontthinkaboutthatnow #mamaslovesummervacationtoo

And the funnies - all the funnies.

  2. I'm not sure what I would do if someone that's a child but clearly should know better wasn't following the rules - ie hitting harder than needed! Love the little goat - so cute! xo, Biana - BlovedBoston

  4. Ooo, I like the developing allergy one! When people tick me off driving, I say I hope they get 2 flat tires and hit a skunk square in the grill. Not death, just horrible inconvenience.
I've been shocked at how little homework my daughter got her whole time in high school! I know it's not a fluke, since she's graduating Saturday, but sheesh! I always thought she was fibbing about not having any until I went to conferences. Whatever she did at home was just stuff she didn't finish in class - they didn't assign anything just to do at home. Really different from when I was in school! Enjoy the last few days!

  5. That 15/16 year old girl at your dojang situation...yea, sounds like she's got issues...and more than just having an issue with you. Hope that gets worked out quickly!
